GREAT COURSE, GREAT CAUSE, GREAT COSTUMES!!!
The Annual Monster Dash 5K, 10K and Little Monster's Mile is on Halloween this year! Saturday 31, 10 a.m. at Highland Elementary School!
Whether you're looking to burn off one too many bite-sized candy bars or just get into the spirit of the season, this is a great Halloween race and it will do just the trick--and be a treat to run. Just grab your sneakers, find the perfect costume, and keep in mind that you probably won't be setting a PR.
These spooktacular events are all about having some frightening fun. FUN & GAMES for the kids and one or two things for the Adults to.
The course 5K begins south down Harmon to Columbia. A counter-clockwise lolly-pop will bring runners back up to Drake park, cross the foot bridge and counter-clockwise run the park up to NW Drake Rd. to finish back at Highland Elementary School. The 10K route is the same route, just 2 loops.
The Little Monsters route is a counter-clockwise loop that will head south down Harmon to Galveston, and then follow the path back through Drake park, across the foot bridge and finish back at the school.
The Monster dash is a non-profit event that proudly sponsors a local non-profit charity in Bend. Our goal is to get 400 participants, to include as many grade school and high school kids as we can to come out and run or walk for this cause.
