Don't let the name scare you off. If you can complete a 5-mile run then Speed Sessions are for you. Our F4 training program is a great way to stay race ready and mix up your weekly running miles while becoming a more well rounded runner.
The Fall Speed Sessions sponsored by Nike is designed to coach participants in:
Throughout the training we will challenge your legs as well as your heart and lungs as you push yourself to get faster, stronger, and more efficient. Prepare to be surprised by all that you can accomplish!
Who? Participants in the F4 Speed Sessions should be able to comfortably run 5 miles and be ready to push themselves in training. This program is truly designed for participants who are eager to take their training to the next level, regardless of their speed. Registration opens $$$$$$$$ and will be limited to 40 runners.
What? A series of coached track workouts, hill repeats, plyometrics, core workouts, form work, and strengthening exercises will enable you to improve your race time. This program will also help you to speed your recovery for distance running varying from the 5K on up to the Marathon.
Where? Meet at Fleet Feet, and we'll run to various locations around Bend
When? Fridays, January 2nd - February 6th, from 6:30pm-7:30/8:00pm (end time depends on workout)
How? Each participant needs to:
