50k Fat Ass Fun Run in the Badlands Bend, Oregon Including 9, 13, and 22 mile options This is a fun run to turn your post-holiday fat ass into a BAD ASS!

Start Time We will start at 8:00am (Early start: The Colonel will leave at 7:00am to mark the loop, if you want to start with him, you may). Bronco starts at 8:00am.
Directions to the Start/Finish Take Highway 20 east of Bend for 25 miles. Just AFTER mile marker 25, turn left on a dirt road at the 2nd shooting range (at an old rock borrow pit). DO NOT turn at the 1st shooting range around mile marker 24! After turning left on the fire road and driving around 3-ish miles you’ll come to a fork in the road, stay right at the fork and soon cross a cattle guard (we’ll try to have signs up). After the cattle guard, the road soon curves left and heads toward the big, bare Cinder Butte. Total distance on the fire road is approximately 4 miles. The starting area is at the base of the Cinder Butte nestled in the junipers. We also recommend carpooling with someone that is doing a similar distance, as parking is somewhat limited or the weather may limit parking (e.g. snow). In addition, if we have a good snow before, the access on the dirt road may call for a little vehicle clearance (e.g. Subaru AWD or 4WD).
