Run Happy 10k Training Program

Our next 10K program starts Saturday, January 7 at 8:30 a.m. 

 

Brooks Run Happy 10k Training Program is a training program designed to help those who want to train to run a 10k.

* Have you completed a 5k and you want to take your running to the next level?  Do you want motivation to get in shape by spring? 

* Or, for those who have completed our advanced half marathon or trail running training groups, we will incorporate a separate group that includes some speed training, fartleks, etc. so you can train for the 10k with a specific goal in mind. (Yes, I just said the word "fartlek."  It's a real word. Look it up.)

But, whether you are a beginner or you are looking for advanced training, we will make sure that you are in a group where you are comfortable with others who are at a similar level. This is a fun, non-competitive program and everyone is welcome!

Group Runs: The group will meet to run every Saturday at 8:30 a.m for six weeks.

Dates:  January 7 - February 11

What will you get for your participation?

  • Personal coaching with weekly coached runs and weekly emails
  • A personalized training program
  • Great camaraderie
  • A cool necklace for the ladies or a Fleet Feet performance beanie for the guys
  • This program is open to runners of all ability levels!! If you have run a 5k (3 miles) before, this is a good program for you.  This is a comfortable, non-intimidating, fun group environment for everyone.  We work hard to make sure that everyone is comfortable. 
  • The Winter 10k training program meets at the same time as the No Boundaries 5K training program... So, if you sign up for the 10K program but a nagging injury gets you down, you can switch into the 5K program for the week.  

Cost: $75 ($65 if you sign up before December 31.)
